Libby Watson, LPC

Life is filled with seasons of joy, growth, loss, change, and unexpected challenges. As a counselor, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate those seasons and discover new paths toward healing, hope, and greater peace.

My journey to becoming a counselor was not a traditional one. After a 15-year career as an engineer, I felt called to pursue a profession centered on helping people. In 2008, I began my counseling career, and for the past 18 years I have had the honor of working with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of life challenges.

In addition to my professional experience, I bring the perspective of someone who has lived a full and sometimes complicated life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 38 years. I am a mother, grandmother, daughter, caregiver, and person of faith. Like many of my clients, I have experienced relationship struggles, family challenges, grief, caregiving responsibilities, health concerns, life transitions, and seasons of questioning and growth.

These experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my belief that healing is possible, even when life feels overwhelming. I know that lasting change rarely comes from being judged or "fixed." It comes from being understood, supported, and empowered to move forward one step at a time.

My counseling style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without fear of criticism or shame. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support lasting growth.

I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, caregiver stress, trauma, self-worth struggles, and challenges related to faith and personal identity. My approach integrates evidence-based counseling methods while honoring each client's unique story, values, and goals.

For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable integrating Christian faith into the counseling process. I believe that emotional healing, personal growth, and spiritual growth can work together to help people live more fully and authentically.

Whether you are facing a specific crisis or simply sense that something in your life needs attention, you do not have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater healing, connection, and hope.
