Christy Morrow, LPC
I became a mental health therapist due to my love of helping others. My desire is to work with individuals to help them through whatever life struggles they are experiencing, because I believe anyone is capable of change. I believe that someone's thoughts have a great impact on how that person acts and feels. The more you entertain a thought, the more ingrained it becomes in your brain and behaviors. These thoughts eventually form habits, which also includes emotional habits. I offer practical tools to help people change their habits in order to change their lives.
My passion is helping people who are experiencing anxiety, nervous system issues, as well as hormonal issues. I also work with people experiencing depression, and people who suffer from low self-esteem. I also specialize in assisting clients with stress management and developing coping skills or individuals experiencing anger concerns due to their circumstances. I have considerable experience assisting clients with navigating grief and loss.
I am a warm, genuine person. I come alongside clients and foster an authentic relationship that is essential for change. I use a combination of practical and experiential techniques such as relaxation and somatic exercises. I also offer Christian counseling. My personal faith has shown me a lot of practical wisdom for mental health, as well as everyday life.
Through empathy, an authentic relationship, and a variety of tools, I will work with you to help you meet your therapeutic goals. I love working with my clients and helping them find the growth they desire! My goal is to provide hope, insight, and education to help clients overcome any obstacles and not just enjoy their lives, but to truly thrive!
